Fluido strengthens its global higher education practice

2 minute read

Since 2015, Fluido has been gaining recognition for digital transformation efforts in higher education. We have delivered over a hundred projects for higher education worldwide, prompting stellar feedback from our customers and Salesforce.org. And we’re nowhere near stopping — in fact, we are proud to announce that this year we’ve identified higher education as one of our core practices to make sure we have our focus on the industry and provide the latest insights to our customers.

Leading this practice is Kari Poutanen, who has been with Fluido since 2017 and brings a strong background in delivering successful transformation projects for companies of all sizes. At Fluido, he has led several digital transformation programs for large European higher education institutions, and he’s dedicated his team’s efforts to making every single one of them a success. His greatest inspiration for working with Salesforce comes from Education Cloud and the possibilities this platform provides.

"We are constantly improving our capabilities and expertise in the education space. We are committed to helping educational institutions succeed in their digital transformation journeys, and we want to help educational institutions navigate the new digital landscape and realise their digital vision."

Kari Poutanen, Education Practice Lead, Fluido

There are a lot of exciting things on the education practice roadmap we are thrilled to share, from our strategic partnerships — the most recent being with KPMG in the UK and Europe — to our panel series that brings together ecosystem leaders in a conversation around the changing nature of the industry, digital transformation, student experience, and many other highly relevant topics.

The first event in the panel series took place on 12 May and was focused on business schools. Kari had a chat with Elin Borrebæk, the CDO at BI Norwegian Business School; Julio Villalobos, EMEA CXO Strategic Industry Advisor for Salesforce; and Sam Sanders, the advisory lead for higher education at KPMG in the UK. They discussed the ways in which the pandemic had affected business schools and how the situation had created a new environment that had never been as competitive.

You can watch the recording of the discussion to learn how BI has adapted to these challenges in the new normal and the role that technology plays in supporting their business.
