Agentforce Revenue Management, formerly known as Revenue Cloud, is a modern, agentic CPQ solution natively integrated with Salesforce. It extends the sales capabilities of Salesforce CRM and has been recognised by Gartner as a Leader in the Configure-Price-Quote application market.
The solution offers a comprehensive range of tools and features that can be tailored to meet your specific business requirements. Our customers use Agentforce Revenue Management to build robust, efficient sales processes on the Salesforce platform, or leverage its backend capabilities through Headless 360 with any user interface of their choice.
Configure-Price-Quote (CPQ) meaning
Configure-Price-Quote (CPQ) solutions are used to create and manage quotes, configure products, calculate prices and generate quote documents. However, their capabilities extend beyond these core functions. Modern CPQ solutions may also support approval workflows, order management, contract lifecycle management and integration with e-commerce platforms and external portals.
Two closely related concepts are Quote-to-Cash (QTC) and Lead-to-Cash. QTC encompasses the entire process from order placement through contracting, invoicing, and payment collection, among other stages. Lead-to-Cash is an even broader concept: it begins with lead generation and continues through opportunity management, quoting, and ultimately revenue collection.
Main use cases for CPQ solutions
Streamline and automate the whole Lead-to-Cash process
A robust CPQ solution automates manual, error-prone tasks and accelerates the transition from quoting to ordering and billing. It guides sales representatives in selecting the right products, applying appropriate discounts, sending proposals to customers, converting quotes into orders or contracts, and, where applicable, generating invoices and facilitating payment collection. Approval workflows typically provide an additional quality assurance layer, helping organisations maintain control over the products sold and discounts offered.
There are many ways to design a Lead-to-Cash process using CPQ and billing solutions. The optimal approach depends on your specific business requirements, product portfolio, and the roles that CPQ, billing, and other applications play within your broader system landscape. Our Solution Architects bring years of experience in designing these processes and the applications that support them.
Sell and manage subscriptions
Selling subscriptions can be complex, particularly when calculating accurate pricing for different contract terms and managing amendments and renewals. Salesforce Agentforce Revenue Management includes a powerful, out-of-the-box subscription engine that automatically calculates the appropriate price for each subscription. It also enables you to manage contract changes efficiently and systematically, including amendments, renewals and cancellations, while reducing manual effort and the risk of errors.
Customer-specific pricing, framework agreements, predefined discounts, terms and conditions can also be managed efficiently through contract-based pricing in Agentforce Revenue Management.
Manage complex product configuration and pricing
Do your sales representatives struggle to identify the right products, configure solutions accurately, or calculate prices consistently? CPQ provides guided selling, value-based selling and configurable bundles to simplify the sales process and enable your team to focus on what matters most: engaging customers and closing deals. CPQ also helps ensure that product pricing remains accurate and consistent, regardless of the pricing model you use.
Enable sales through different channels
You can provide partners and end customers with access to CPQ functionality through self-service portals built with Experience Cloud or leverage B2B Commerce to apply contracted pricing automatically and, where required, integrate the process with Billing in Agentforce Revenue Management. The greatest value often comes from integrating multiple applications into a cohesive solution that efficiently supports the needs of all stakeholders.
Choose the CPQ experts
A thoughtfully designed CPQ solution provides the control and guidance needed to optimise your sales processes while supporting teams and stakeholders across your organisation. Fluido’s dedicated Revenue Cloud team brings deep expertise and years of experience in product modelling, business processes and the configuration of industry-leading solutions to help streamline your quoting operations.
We work with a range of CPQ and billing platforms, enabling us to recommend and implement the solution that best meets your business needs. Salesforce’s primary offering in the CPQ space is Agentforce Revenue Management, formerly known as Revenue Cloud, and Fluido has extensive experience delivering successful implementations of this technology.
With hundreds of successful CPQ implementations, we can help enhance your sales teams’ productivity and performance through a modern, effective sales solution. Regardless of your industry, we apply proven best practices, introduce innovative ideas and challenge the status quo to help you achieve your business objectives.
CPQ software we work with
Because a CPQ application must accurately support the specific products, pricing models and processes of each business, there is no one-size-fits-all solution in the CPQ market. To provide the best solution for each customer, Fluido works with several leading CPQ and billing platforms, including Salesforce, Epicor and Tacton.
- Agentforce Revenue Management: Salesforce’s latest offering in the CPQ market. Unlike solutions that simply combine CPQ and billing capabilities, Agentforce Revenue Management provides a comprehensive revenue management suite covering the entire Quote-to-Cash journey, from the initial quote through to payment. Fully integrated with Salesforce and Agentforce, it also enables organisations to benefit from agent-powered sales processes.
- Salesforce CPQ: Salesforce’s legacy CPQ solution, supporting quoting, pricing, product configuration and order and contract lifecycle management. Although Salesforce has officially placed the product in the “End of Sale” stage, many customers continue to rely on Fluido for support and enhancements to their legacy environments.
- Salesforce Industries Cloud (formerly Vlocity): A suite of Salesforce products designed to support industry-specific requirements, including significant components of the Quote-to-Cash process.
- Epicor CPQ (formerly KBMax): A third-party CPQ solution that can be used alongside Salesforce CPQ to manage the advanced configuration of complex products. It includes capabilities such as 3D visualisation and integration with CAD tools.
- Tacton: A third-party solution for highly advanced product configuration and 3D visualisation. Tacton can operate as a standalone application or be integrated with Salesforce.

Frequently Asked Questions about Salesforce CPQ and Agentforce Revenue Management (ARM)
We have invested millions into Salesforce CPQ. How much of that can be preserved?
A CPQ investment, and the extent to which it can be preserved when migrating to a new solution such as ARM, should be evaluated based on business value rather than the share of assets, features, and capabilities that can be reused.
A typical ARM migration project allows organisations to retain large parts of their product knowledge, pricing strategy, approval governance, sales processes, and integrations. In other words, the majority of the business value remains intact.
The migration effort primarily results from translating existing assets into ARM’s architecture. On the upside, this creates an opportunity, and in some cases a necessity, to eliminate years of accumulated technical debt.
Does moving away from Salesforce CPQ (Steelbrick) towards Agentforce Revenue Management unlock AI-driven selling and automation?
Moving from Salesforce CPQ (Steelbrick) to Agentforce Revenue Management can unlock significantly more AI-driven selling and automation because ARM is built as a native, API-first platform and is the strategic foundation for Salesforce’s future revenue, automation, and agent capabilities.
Agentforce Revenue Management is built on a native, API-first architecture and serves as the strategic platform for Salesforce’s future revenue management, automation, and agentic AI capabilities. This foundation makes it easier to implement intelligent quoting, automated pricing and approval processes, and autonomous AI-assisted sales workflows.
However, the business only realizes that value if the migration is used to modernize processes and not simply recreate the legacy CPQ implementation.
Should we use this as an opportunity to redesign CPQ, contracting, orders and billing end-to-end?
A CPQ migration should not automatically trigger a complete redesign. The right approach depends on your business objectives, process maturity, and appetite for change.
Where technical debt, process fragmentation, or maintainability issues exist, migration provides an excellent opportunity to modernise the end-to-end revenue architecture. Where processes are already effective, focus transformation efforts on the areas that create measurable business value and preserve what already works.
